Privacy policy

What we collect

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, approximate location). IP addresses are processed by Google per their policies; we do not see them.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address and the page you subscribed from. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Contact form: we store the name, email, and message you submit so we can reply.
• Affiliate clicks: when you use a /go/ link we log the click (offer, referrer page, browser user-agent) to measure which content is useful. Retailers like Amazon set their own cookies after you leave — see their privacy policies.

Quote-request (lead) data

This section governs the quote form on this site.

• What we store: the name, email, optional phone number, route (from/to), move size, and move month you submit, plus the page you submitted from and a timestamp.
• Why: to keep your estimate on file, email you about your move (e.g. rate-band shifts on your route), and — only with the consent you give on the form — match your request with relevant moving providers.
• Sharing: your request may be shared with relevant moving providers so they can contact you about your move. It is never sold to data brokers, never shared for unrelated marketing, and never shared at all unless you checked the consent box. Until matching partners are live for your route, requests are simply stored.
• Deletion: email us via the contact page from the address you submitted, and we will delete your quote request (and confirm) within 30 days. If your request was already shared with a provider, we will tell you which one so you can exercise your rights with them too.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal data, run third-party ad networks, or require accounts. The calculator, route pages, and guides all work without collecting anything.

Your choices

Unsubscribe via any email's footer link; block analytics with standard browser tooling; request deletion of contact, subscriber, or quote-request records via the contact page. Requests are honored within 30 days.
